Industrial liquid discharges and air emission limit values

• Industrial liquid discharges VLG (arrêté 13-2942, 7 October 2013, BO 6199, in force since January 2018): BOD5 100, COD 500, TSS 100, Kjeldahl nitrogen 40, total phosphorus 15, free cyanide 0.5 mg/L; pH 5.5–9.5. • Air emissions (décret 2-09-631, 6 July 2010): total dust 50 mg/m³; SO₂ and NOx 500 mg/m³; inorganic dust 0.2 / 1 / 5 mg/m³ by category. • Discharge permit: issued by the basin agency (water) and the environmental administration, with self-monitoring and reporting duties. • Dangerous or unhealthy installations (ICPE): regime of the dahir of 25 August 1914 (authorisation or declaration). • Specific values: some sectors are subject to stricter limits (official orders and the project’s environmental approval).
