Legal basis (gazette level): décret n° 2-69-351 of 27 moharrem 1390 (4 April 1970) sets the operating conditions for self-drive car rental (published in BO no. 2999 of 22 April 1970); amended by décret n° 2-98-1075 of 6 hija 1419 (24 March 1999), published in BO no. 4682 of 15 April 1999 (page 206).
Content of the 1999 amending decree (OCR of the official gazette text): two articles only — article 1 repeals article 4 of decree n° 2-69-351; article 2 charges the Minister of Transport and Merchant Marine with implementation and publication. Signed in Rabat on 24 March 1999.
