  • IGOC 2026, published by the Office des Changes (31 December 2025), entered into force on 1 January 2026 and restructures foreign exchange rules by operation type and user profile.
  • Convertibility regime: direct investments made in foreign currency (capital, share subscription, shareholder loans) benefit, subject to supporting documents, from transfers of income and capital.
  • Dividends and profits: transferred on presentation of audited financial statements, the allocation decision and tax receipts, through the domiciliating bank (no individual authorisation required).
  • Shareholder loans: a bank avis de crédit and registration of the external debt are required; principal and interest are transferred on presentation of the contract and withholding-tax receipts.
  • Facilitation measures (examples): ADD-labelled tech start-ups may invest up to MAD 10 million/year abroad; the business travel allowance for entities without foreign-currency accounts rises to MAD 1,000,000.
