  • Work permit: article 516 of law 65-99 (Labour Code) — hiring a foreign employee requires an authorisation and a visaed foreign employment contract (CTE), filed through the official TAECHIR platform.
  • Labour market verification: proof of no equally qualified local candidate (ANAPEC) is generally required; exemptions follow the official list.
  • Residence: law 02-03 (dahir 1-03-196) — beyond 90 days a residence card is required, with the first application filed before the 90-day deadline.
  • Social security: foreign employees must also be affiliated to the CNSS and declared monthly (Damancom).
  • To confirm: publication/verification durations and residence-card fees have no uniform official value; confirm in writing with the local authority.
