Eau et environnement

Morocco's water and environmental sector is mainly centered on drinking water supply, sewage and stormwater networks, irrigation and wastewater treatment, seawater desalination, and environmental remediation. Contracting entities include the water branch of the National Office of Electricity and Drinking Water (ONEE), regional water utilities, and local authorities. Procurement covers network works, construction of treatment facilities, equipment supply, operation and maintenance, and water quality testing services. Projects in this sector often involve concession or public-private partnership (PPP) models, and works and goods notices are also published through the government procurement portal. Foreign companies typically participate through equipment and material supply, works subcontracting, operation and maintenance, and technical services, subject to the official notices.
